The Rider’s Fund
As MotoKind grows, something should grow with it.
The Rider’s Fund sets aside 10% of MotoKind partnership revenue to support initiatives that make a practical difference to riders and the wider motorcycle community.
Built Into MotoKind From the Beginning
MotoKind was created to be useful to riders, but we also wanted the business itself to have a way of giving something back.
That’s why 10% of MotoKind partnership revenue is allocated to the Rider’s Fund.
As MotoKind grows, the fund can grow with it, creating more opportunities to support practical projects, organisations and initiatives that benefit riders.
What the Rider’s Fund Can Support
The fund is intended to support practical initiatives across four broad areas.
Safety & Gear
Initiatives that help riders stay safer through protective equipment, awareness and practical safety support.
Training & Skills
Opportunities that help riders build knowledge, skills and confidence.
Access & Barriers
Practical support that helps reduce barriers to riding, learning or progressing.
Community Care
Support for projects and initiatives responding to genuine needs within the riding community.
How It Works
The Rider’s Fund isn’t a separate charge added to what riders or partners pay. MotoKind allocates 10% of its partnership revenue to the fund.
Support will depend on the resources available and the opportunities identified. Decisions will be made carefully, with a focus on where relatively small amounts of support can make a useful difference.
As the fund develops, we’ll share what it has supported so riders and partners can see where the money is going.
MotoKind also provides free visibility for charities and organisations making a positive difference within the riding world and beyond.
As MotoKind grows, we hope to expand the impact of the Rider’s Fund and the organisations it helps champion.
Small Fund. Practical Difference
The Rider’s Fund will start small, just as MotoKind did.
The aim isn’t to promise huge grants. It’s to use what we have thoughtfully — helping good ideas happen, reducing a barrier where we can, or supporting organisations already doing valuable work.
As MotoKind grows, so does the potential to do more.
Know Something Worth Supporting?
We’re interested in hearing about organisations, projects and initiatives making a practical difference to riders.
The Rider’s Fund is still developing, so we’re not currently promising funding or operating a formal application programme. But we do want to know about good work happening across the motorcycle community.
